- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 box 6 oz stuffing mix (e.g., Stove Top Chicken or Herb)
- 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
- ¾ cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
- ½ cup chopped celery
- ½ cup chopped onion
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or butter for greasing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Prepare stuffing mix according to package instructions, then set aside.
In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped celery, chopped onion, and a bit of salt and pepper.
Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the greased baking dish.
Top with prepared stuffing and gently spread to cover.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top if using.
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving for best texture.
