  • 2 cups of soft pitted Medjool dates.
  • ½ to ¾ cup of liquid water, almond milk, or your favorite plant-based milk.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional.
  • A pinch of sea salt optional, for salted caramel.

  • Prepare the Dates If your dates feel dry, soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes. Drain them before blending. Ensure all dates are pitted to protect your blender or food processor.
